The Woodstock Slammers announced on Wednesday that defenseman Brad Tesink has committed to the St. Thomas Tommies for the 2010-2011 season.
Head Coach Mike Eagles had this to say about his recent recruit "We are excited that Brad had decided to play for the Tommies and after four years in the QMJHL the former first round pick of the Gatineau Olympics spent this past season with the Woodstock Slammers of the MHL. He was stalwart on the blueline helping them win a championship with a record breaking season".
"Brad was a big part of our hockey team's success last season as he added experience to our hockey club", said Slammers Head Coach Jason Tatarnic. "We look forward to watching Brad develop at the CIS level and we want to wish him all the best next season. We look forward to placing his picture on our alumni wall located at the Carleton Civic Centre."
