MHL releases 2010-11 Schedule

The Maritime Junior Hockey League released its schedule for the 2010-11 season. The schedule features 52 games for each of the 11 MHL teams and regular season action will begin on Friday, September 10th.

This season’s 52 game schedule sees a slight increase from last year’s 50 games and also sees the elimination of the Showcase Weekend that has regularly been played in early October.

The Amherst Ramblers and the Bridgewater Lumberjacks kick off action on the 10th in Bridgewater along with three other games including Truro at Metro, Miramichi at Yarmouth, Dieppe at Campbellton and Weeks at Summerside. On Saturday the 11th, three more games follow and Sunday wraps up the first full weekend of play with two matches.
